County Sagebrush Meeting Postponed Until April

What’s an extra nine weeks spent on an issue that dates back to 1961?
At the request of the chief petitioners, the Los Angeles County Committee on School District Organization has again postponed making a preliminary decision on whether to grant a territory transfer of the 385-acre Sagebrush area in westernmost La Cañada Flintridge from Glendale Unified to La Cañada Unified School District. Chinese Parents, ALF Members Share Dumplings and Conversation

Sheri Morton confirmed the old adage about the best way to a person’s heart is through her stomach.
Members of the Chinese Parents Association spent Friday morning with members of the Assistance League of Flintridge, making friends as they prepared and then devoured delicious dumplings together in honor of Chinese New Year.

Miss LCF Paints Picture of a Dream Come True

The crown fits.
Sarah Ann Settles celebrated her 17th birthday last month with great fanfare: At the La Cañada Flintridge Chamber of Commerce’s 105th Installation and Awards Gala, she was named 2017 Miss LCF — a dream come true for a girl who grew up being inspired by members of past LCF Royal Courts.

Candidates Debate Progress, Safety for Two Council Seats
