Armory Center Annual Benefit is April 14

The Armory Center for the Arts will hold its annual benefit, to honor retiring Executive Director Scott Ward, on Saturday, April 14, from 6:30-10 p.m. The event will be held at the Armory at 145 N. Raymond Ave. in Pasadena.
Ward is only the second executive director in the organization’s history and has served in the role for 17 years.
A group of local restaurants will provide food and drinks throughout the evening, including Alexandra’s Table, Bristol Farms, Café Santorini, Claud Beltran & Company Catering, Congregation Ale House, Groundwork Coffee Co., Gale’s Restaurant, Green Street Restaurant, Gus’s Barbecue, Heirloom Bakery & Café, John Sparr Tavern, Kensington Caterers, the Kitchen for Exploring Foods, Marston’s Restaurant, Mijares Mexican Restaurant, Parkway Grill/Smith Bros. Catering, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Tam O’Shanter/Lawry’s Restaurants Inc. and Yoshida.
The event committee includes Gale Kohl (chair), Susan Delaney (co-chair), Max Brennan, Susan Caldwell, Marina Chang, Carolyn Cutler, Tonita Fernandez, Tammy Godley, Megan Hamilton, Maria Khader Karp, Stan Kong, Denise Matthews, Stephen Nowlin, Shelley Ogden Short, George Stephens and Lisa Sugimoto.
