San Marino Police Chief John Incontro addressed the students at San Marino High School during Red Ribbon Week, a national campaign co-sponsored in San Marino by Partnership for Awareness and the PTA. Red Ribbon Week focuses on the dangers of substance abuse and the promotion of healthy life choices. Incontro talked about drinking and driving, drug abuse and alcohol binges and how even little mistakes can alter lives and future opportunities. He shared personal stories of family and friends, and encouraged those students who have turned 18 to vote and be a part of the democratic process. The SMHS Red Ribbon Week liaison was Angela Liang and the PTA Council coordinator was Lindsey Lytle.
