Alverno Heights Inducts National Honor Society Members

The Daemen Chapter of the National Honor Society at Alverno Heights Academy inducted seven new members into their ranks. They are: juniors Alicia Mercado, Anica Quizon, Evina Wang, and Melody Wu and seniors Catherine Johnson, Allison Joseph, and Arianna Muñoz.
The National Honor Society is an organization that recognizes academic success while encouraging the continued development of character, leadership and community service.
At Alverno, National Honor Society students participate in various service projects including tutoring students, bell ringing for the Salvation Army at Christmas and other projects that benefit both Alverno and the local community. Additionally, members of National Honor Society are active members in Alverno student government, campus organizations, athletic teams and the visual and performing arts while maintaining impressive academic records. The average grade-point average of members of the National Honor Society at Alverno Heights Academy is 4.35.
The new additions join junior Laura Chen and seniors Alexis Baro, Marisa Dragos, Jillian Kislow, Asia Leong, Alicia Lindheimer and Moondera Rabb as members of the National Honor Society at Alverno.
