Kiwanis Accepting Nominations for La Cañadan of the Year

Since the early 1950s, the Kiwanis Club has been recognizing an individual as La Cañadan of the Year. It will be selecting an outstanding citizen from the community to be honored. The public is asked to contribute to the process by nominating members of the community who have demonstrated strong evidence of “giving back” and exemplary commitment to the community. Longtime La Cañada Flintridge resident and community leader Don Voss was honored last year.
Past recipients and nomination forms can be found at Nomination forms are also available at the following locations: the La Cañada Chamber of Commerce, La Cañada Library or La Cañada City Hall. The 2017 La Cañadan of the Year will be announced in late March and honored at a special luncheon hosted by the Kiwanis Club on Wednesday, April 26, at 11:15 a.m. at Van de Kamp Hall at Descanso Gardens. Members of the public are invited to attend.
