Pasadena Water and Power is providing Pasadena-area high school seniors with an opportunity to win a college scholarship. A $5,000 and a $2,500 award will be given to the top two high school seniors who write the most creative and thoughtful essays on the topic of water and energy efficiency.
To apply, students must submit an application, academic transcripts and write an essay. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must live within PWP service territory, be currently enrolled as a high school senior in the city of Pasadena, and provide proof of acceptance for the 2017-18 school year at an accredited two-year or four-year post-secondary institution. The application deadline is April 10.
PWP started the education scholarship program in 2014 as part of its commitment to empowering and investing in Pasadena’s youth. To learn more, visit PWPweb.com/Scholarships or call (626) 744-4172.
