Pasadena Art Alliance Awards $300,000 in Grants

The Pasadena Art Alliance awarded a combined $300,000 to 34 recipients at the group’s recent grants reception held at the home of member Susan Crawford.
The awards are in keeping with the mission statement of the Pasadena Art Alliance, which is to foster appreciation for contemporary visual arts in Southern California by supporting artists, exhibitions, educational programs and art-oriented, nonprofit institutions.
In addition, the Art Alliance’s Impact award of $25,000 will be awarded in April to a Los Angeles County nonprofit that affects youth through contemporary art.
The chairman of the grants committee is Meg Aldrich, and assistant chairs are Liza Kerrigan and Bea Trujillo.
