Pasadena Playhouse Opens ‘The Originalist’

Friends of the Pasadena Playhouse gathered last week to celebrate opening night of “The Originalist.” The thought-provoking play attracted many attendees eager to see a production that deals head-on with the political divide alive in our country today.
Pasadena Playhouse’s Producing Artistic Director Danny Feldman hosted the pre-event gathering by introducing playwright John Strand, who spoke to the guests about the many discoveries he made while researching Antonin Scalia, upon whom the play is based. Guests were able to ask a few questions of the playwright before attending the play. “The Originalist” plays through Sunday, May 7.
