The Learning Castle and La Cañada Preparatory began their 26th year last Wednesday with the official start of school. Children were excited to reunite with friends after the summer break and some were even happy to begin classes. Parents were welcomed back with coffee and breakfast bars from the Parent Association, and all were looking forward to a great first day. The Learning Castle and La Cañada Preparatory are WASC Accredited private schools providing individualized curriculum for 4-year-olds through 8th-graders and are located at 4490 Cornishon Avenue in La Cañada Flintridge.
