Lake Avenue Church will kick off its new ministry to adults 55 years and older with a luncheon from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2. The event will be held in the Family Life Center, rooms 201-203.
This new ministry will focus on social life, physical health, financial management, emotional wellness and spiritual wholeness, according to a church spokesman. The luncheon will include a clean comedian, the church’s Tenor Trio, a preview of ministry events, testimonies from church staff and community members, and a tree-planting ceremony.
