The 30-plus women on the committee for the Pasadena Festival of Women Authors met at La Casita del Arroyo recently, eager to hear the announcement of authors who will speak at the upcoming April 14 event. It’s the festival’s 10th anniversary, so extra excitement was in the air. The announced authors are: featured author Christina Baker Kline, of Orphan Train and A Piece of the World; Jade Chang, The Wangs Vs The World; Charmaine Craig, Miss Burma; Natashia Deon, Grace; Min Jin Lee, Pachinko; Jessica Shattuck, The Women in the Castle; and Hannah Tinti, The Twelve Lives of Samuel Hawley. Now that the big reveal has been made, reservations for patron tickets and tables are available. Open seating tickets will be on sale Jan. 2.
