Southern California Children’s Museum recently received a $3,000 grant from the John Aaroe Group Community Foundation. These funds will support new art programming at the museum and will also boost community outreach programming.
The John Aaroe Group Community Foundation supports local organizations in the categories of community, education, environment and health care. This is the second year in a row that SCCM has received a grant from the foundation.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with the John Aaroe Group Community Foundation again this year. Because of their generosity, SCCM’s art programming continues to grow in scope and creativity as it reaches more families,” said museum Board President Catherine Welch.
The donation request and subsequent grant funding for Southern California Children’s Museum was presented by Pasadena director of Aaroe Estates Sarah Rogers.
