The new executive board of the Pasadena Guild of Children’s Hospital was introduced at the Guild’s annual meeting in February.
The new officers for the 2018-19 year are: President Sarah Shelton, First Vice President Millie Steinbrecher, Second Vice President Melissa Patterson, recording secretary Cindy Jenkins, corresponding secretary Valerie Weiss, treasurer Nena Brogan and assistant treasurer Anne Alford.
Also introduced at the meeting were the Pasadena Guild’s new members: Brooke Garlock, Marianne Lynch, Muriel Newell, Evelyn Boss, Ann Boutin, Marlene Evans, Paulette Geragos, Connie Harding, Joan Malloy, Valerie McAndrews, Barbara Miller, Kimberley Shepherd and Debra Spaulding.
The Pasadena Guild has raised more than $30 million through the years, successfully completing seven Guild endowments in the areas of Pediatric Eye Cancer, Pediatric Surgery, Adolescent Medicine, Bone and Soft Tissue Research. Additionally, the Guild has made Developmental Biology endowments in partnership with the Saban Research Institute and funded one capital campaign.
