Volleyball: Spartans, Rebels Ousted in 1st Round

The La Cañada High School varsity boys’ volleyball team fell to host No. 6 seed Quartz Hill in three games, 25-13, 25-10, 25-21, in the first round of the CIF Southern Section Division 2 playoffs on Tuesday.

La Cañada Extends Win Streak

The La Cañada High School varsity baseball team keeps rolling past opponents despite clinching the Rio Hondo League championship two weeks ago. The Spartans didn’t take it easy on visiting Temple City and defeated the Rams, 6-1, on Tuesday to remain perfect in Rio Hondo League play.

La Cañada Remains Perfect; FSHA Wins 3rd Straight

The La Cañada High School varsity softball team kept its perfect Rio Hondo League record intact with an 8-1 victory over visiting Temple City on Tuesday.
The Rams challenged the Spartans early with a run in the top of the first inning, but La Cañada (16-4 overall record, 11-0 in league) responded by getting on the board in the bottom half of the frame and an additional four runs in the second.

Spartans Baseball Win League Outright

The La Cañada High School varsity baseball team remained perfect in Rio Hondo League play, defeating host South Pasadena, 5-0, on Saturday and clinching the league championship outright.
