United Methodist Children’s Center Father-Daughter Sock Hop

Participating in the Father-Daughter Sock Hop were Daniel and Sawyer Janhnke (kneeling, from left), and Arturo and Aaliyah Henriquez. Back: Russell and Emerson Guizado, Keira and Adrian Kizuma, Michael and Quinn Pizarro, Nolan and Moira McSparran, and Ryan and Lily McKnight.

The United Methodist Children’s Center held its first Father-Daughter Sock Hop. The attendees decorated cupcakes, danced to ’50s classics, and indulged in root beer floats and popcorn. This was a memorable event for both fathers and daughters. All attendees went home with a souvenir Polaroid and a decorated album frame. This is the second major fundraiser where all proceeds are allocated to the artificial grass fund.
The school is in the middle of installation, with a projected completion date of early March.
