The Pasadena Guild of Children’s Hospital recently presented 34 local young women, including eight honored in absentia, at the 59th June Ball at the Langham Huntington Hotel.
Due to COVID, the June Ball was postponed until November, making the 2021 Ball affectionately remembered as the “June Ball in the fall.”

Villa Esperanza Services’ Blue & White fundraiser, “Leave an Impression,” was recently held at the Langham Huntington Hotel. The evening celebrated the art of people with intellectual/developmental disabilities, of which many pieces were on display and for sale. Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour and silent auction on the patio before heading inside for dinner, where Lisa and Tim Sloan were honored for their many contributions to Villa Esperanza.
Villa Esperanza Services Blue & White fundraiser, “Leave an Impression,” takes place Saturday, May 20, at the Langham Huntington Hotel.
Villa will recognize Lisa and Tim Sloan with Villa’s Guardian Angel Award for the tremendous impact they are making in the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
