The Leapfrog Group, a Washington, D.C.-based organization aiming to improve health care quality and safety for consumers and purchasers, recently released the new Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades. Huntington Hospital was one of 750 awarded an “A” for its efforts in protecting patients from harm and meeting the highest safety standards in the U.S. (The Safety Grade assigns an A, B, C, D or F grade to hospitals across the country based on their performance in preventing medical errors, infections and other harms among patients in their care).

Huntington Hospital Earns ‘A’ for Safety From Leapfrog

The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit health care ratings organization, released new Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades. The Safety Grade assigns letter grades of A, B, C, D and F to hospitals nationwide based on their performance in preventing medical errors, infections and other harms. Huntington Hospital was one of 832 awarded an “A” for its commitment to keeping patients safe and meeting the highest safety standards in the U.S.

Glendale Adventist Medical Center Scores ‘A’ for Patient Safety

The Leapfrog Group, a nonprofit organization committed to driving quality, safety and transparency in the U.S. health care system, recently released new Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades, which assign A, B, C, D and F letter grades to hospitals nationwide. Glendale Adventist Medical Center was one of 823 hospitals to receive an “A” for its commitment to reducing errors, infections and accidents that can harm patients.
“GAMC is proud to have earned its fifth consecutive ‘A’ grade from the Leapfrog Group, an independent hospital watchdog national ratings program, recognizing hospitals for their commitment to patient safety,” said Dr. Despina Kayichian of Medical Affairs and Quality at GAMC.
