St. Francis High School had 178 young men from the Class of 2021 graduate in a joint Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation Ceremony held under the lights in Jim Bonds Stadium on Friedman Field. Father Joseph Seraphin Dederick, the provincial minister of the Western American Province of the Capuchin Franciscan Order, represented his Bishop José Gómez, archbishop of Los Angeles, at the ceremony. Father Tony Marti, the school president and Principal Thomas Moran were joined by board chair Mark Heydor in officiating the 72nd annual commencement exercises for the local Catholic, college preparatory institution.
