Foothill Water District Holds April Events

The Foothill Municipal Water District has announced a series of community events and activities in April, with the aim to educate residents of the importance of water, especially after the wet season ended drought conditions for many regions across the state.
“We are excited to promote these great events to our residents that remind us of the importance of water,” said FMWD General Manager Nina Jazmadarian. “Our winter storms may have alleviated drought conditions, but our local groundwater basins are at historic lows and still need to recover. Deadline for entries is Monday, April 3, including postmarked submissions. Late entries may be accepted at the discretion of Foothill MWD. For further information, visit fmwd.com and click on “Student Art Contest Information” on the main page.
