ChapCare Celebrates 20th Anniversary April 21

Assemblyman Chris Holden and Dr. Nathan Lewis, a ChapCare founding board member, will be the keynote speakers for the organization’s 20th anniversary event, “Making a Difference: Past, Present and Future.”
NBC-4 investigative reporter Lolita Lopez will be emcee at the event, which will take place on Saturday, April 21, from 6-9 p.m. The event will be hosted at ChapCare Lincoln located at 2055 Lincoln Ave. in Pasadena.
ChapCare will recognize the people who helped found the organization and explore how ChapCare will enhance and expand its scope of services in the future. All net proceeds from this event will go toward providing healthcare services for the uninsured and underinsured.
“Having been ChapCare’s leader for 19 years, I have gotten to see first-hand the impact the organization has had on the communities we serve,” said CEO Margaret Martinez. “During this momentous occasion, we are extremely excited to have these distinguished individuals and organizations in our community come out to celebrate and recognize the work we do.”
