Rosemary Children’s Services, Bonnie House Guild and 500 House Guild, formerly known as Bonnie Guild and 500 Guild, recently held their first fundraiser, Wish Upon a Butterfly, at the residence of Paul Rusnak and Donna Pierson. The event featured an afternoon tea, silent auctions and raffles.
The event raised money for much-needed personal items for some of the 140-plus foster teen girls placed in Rosemary Children’s Services group homes each year. The guilds also hold two activities a month designed to help these girls heal from the severe abuse and abandonment they have suffered.
Some of the guests who attended included members of Rosemary Children’s Services Cottage Guild and Romberger Guild, and members of the Shakespeare Club.
Rosemary Children’s Services is a nonprofit organization that provides 24-hour safe, supportive and therapeutic services to help the girls heal.
