LCF Educational Foundation Gala Draws Nearly 700

The La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation hosted its 26th annual Spring Gala at Pasadena’s Langham Huntington Hotel on Saturday, with the theme being “Moonlight in Morocco.” It was attended by 686 people, making it one of the largest crowds in the event’s history. Proceeds benefit La Cañada Flintridge public schools and their students.
Deborah Weirick was honored with the prestigious Spirit of Outstanding Service Award. Mary McMullin and Adrineh Ghazarian served as the gala’s co-chairs. Their committee members included Caroline Anderson, Laura Buchanan, Kelly Chamberlain, Claudia Dietrich-Joe, Sunyoung Fahimi, Gillan Abercrombie Frame, Betsy Asher Hall, Jaime Hefner, Erik Landswick, Sarah Lowe, Gina Ricci, Tim Sheffield, and LCFEF’s Marilyn Yang (executive director) and Anush Sumian.
