La Cañada High School Home Tour committee members include Mindy DiPaolo (7/8 PTA president), Gillan Abercrombie Frame (co-chair), Suzanne Jensen (co-chair) and Lisa Dick
(9-12 PTA president).

Suzanne Jensen and Gillan Abercrombie Frame are co-chairing this year’s La Cañada High School 7/8 and 9-12 PTA Home Tour. This committee has been planning for months five ways to participate and enjoy the biggest fundraiser for the schools.
Besides touring four unique homes from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3:30-6 p.m. on Friday, April 27, ticketholders can enjoy lunch at event sponsor Los Gringos Locos and other local favorites, including Honeybird, Penelope’s and Sakura. All restaurants will donate a portion of the bill to the PTA.
New this year is an all-day Marketplace at 4419 Commonwealth Ave. Entrance to the Marketplace is complimentary with a Home Tour ticket or $10 at the gate. Grab-and-go bites are offered by Constellation Coffee Bar until 11 a.m., and the Grilled Cheese Truck will be onsite from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. After school from 2:30-5:30 p.m. will be a build-your-own frozen yogurt treat at the Daddy’s Best FroYo truck. Kids enter for free with an adult’s paid Home Tour or Marketplace ticket.
The Marketplace is open from 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. There will be about 15 vendors selling art, clothing, candles, wine, jewelry, pottery, pillows and throws in a beautiful garden.
The last way to participate is by purchasing an Evening Reception ticket to tour the ground floor of an additional home hosting an evening soiree. The backyard will feature entertainment by LCHS jazz musicians and vocalists. Gather with friends and celebrate the evening with small bites, margaritas and wine from 6-8 p.m. This reception is for guests 21 and older.
Support the schools at LCHS by pre-purchasing tickets online or in-person at the Apple Cart, Flintridge Bookstore or Printefex. Business and family sponsorships are available online. Visit lacanadahometour.com.
