Leadership Pasadena has elected Kim Miller-Anderson to the board of directors as vice president of Veterans Services.
“We are honored to have Kim’s service-driven leadership and laser focus as we launch our Community Leadership Course for Veterans. Her professional expertise in technology and process analysis will be a tremendous asset to us across the organization as well,” according to Leadership Pasadena board member Cindy Bengtson.
“I am excited about the opportunity to work with such an accomplished team of leaders and volunteers. I look forward to using my professional and military background to bring leadership opportunities to veterans,” she stated.
Kim Miller-Anderson is the CEO of MSK Consulting Services, with more than 15 years of experience in the technology and financial services industries. Her company specializes in working with companies to build strong operational foundations by defining and implementing end-to-end business processes to meet their customer needs, while helping them engage and use appropriate enabling technologies.
More recently, she has expanded her already robust practice to include the growing financial-tech and blockchain industry.
Miller-Anderson serves the community as a mentor with the STEM Advantage program and Minds Matter L.A.
As a veteran of the United States Army, she is also passionate about finding ways to work with and empower vets in local communities.
“Leadership Pasadena’s commitment to re-missioning our high potential vets as community service leaders in the San Gabriel Valley will be seen in the veterans course, which begins in May and Kim’s talents will be key to its success,” stated Lisa Raggio, executive director, Wellness Works and chair of the Veterans Coalition of Glendale and the Verdugos and Leadership Pasadena consultant for the veterans course.
