Pasadena Presbyterian Church’s Friends of Music presents the 73rd annual Candlelight and Carols on Saturday, Dec. 9, with duplicate performances at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. This Pasadena holiday tradition for the whole family features PPC’s resident musicians and a professional orchestra, offering sacred and secular music of the season.
This year’s program includes singing by five choirs, two hand bell choirs, three commissioned Christmas carol arrangements, a reprise of last year’s hit “’Twas the Night Before Christmas,” plus audience carols accompanied by the orchestra with PPC’s pipe organ.
