Three LCF Residents Earn National Merit Awards

A trio of promising young scholars from La Cañada Flintridge recently received National Merit Scholarship awards worth $2,500 each.
The local recipients are Kamala A. Durairaj, a senior at Harvard-Westlake School in Studio City; Ankur Jain, a senior at Flintridge Prep; and William McConnell, a senior at Pasadena Poly.

LCHS Senior Earns National Merit Scholarship

A La Cañada High School senior is among the first group of winners in the 62nd annual National Merit Scholarship Program.
La Cañada High School’s Jennifer Yoon was named among about 1,000 high school seniors who won corporate-sponsored National Merit Scholarship awards, financed by about 200 corporations, company foundations and other business organizations.

LCHS Boasts 9 National Merit Finalists

All nine of the La Cañada High School students who were named National Merit Scholarship Program semifinalists have emerged as finalists for scholarships that will be announced at the end of the school year.
