Pasadena resident Colleen Williams, an award-winning journalist and KNBC-4 anchor, will host her 23rd annual charity golf tournament to benefit Casa Treatment Center on Monday, June 18, at the San Gabriel Country Club. The tournament closes out Casa’s 50th anniversary celebration of providing affordable addiction treatment for women.
Casa is one of the first gender-specific treatment centers in the country and the only one in Pasadena that focuses exclusively on women seeking recovery. Leah Schneider, Casa’s executive director and CEO, expressed the organization’s appreciation for Williams’ support over the years.
“We are so grateful to have community partners like KNBC-4 and Colleen Williams. For more than 20 years, KNBC-4, Colleen Williams and her husband, Jon Dudley, have been instrumental in bringing the community together to make our annual charity golf tournament a success. It is because of their support that the golf tournament has raised more than $1.5 million to support women in recovery.”
