Mayfield Senior School recently celebrated its cherished rite of passage, the annual Junior Class Ring Night, with a twilight Mass for 91 students who accepted their rings from Head of School Kate Morin or alumnae relatives. The ceremony marked students’ ascendance as upcoming school leaders.
As the sun set over the Pergola Lawn on campus, students held candles symbolizing the theme of Mass and ceremony, “Lighting the Way,” which spoke to the light that has guided them through their high school years of hard work, joy and challenge. About 400 guests and students attended the event at the all-girls Catholic school in Pasadena.
