Villa Esperanza Services recently hosted its 31st anniversary of the Tournament of Hope at the San Gabriel Country Club. The “Around the World in 18 Holes” event was a great success, raising more than $250,000 for children and adults with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
With a course of 120 players and 175 guests for dinner, the day was filled with golf, a helicopter golf ball drop and a live auction. Pat Wickhem served as the auctioneer for the evening.
Villa client and entrepreneur Jeremy “Magic Remy’”Catama wowed guests during cocktail hour with his magic. During dinner, guests enjoyed hearing from Villa clients Sandy Marasco and Catama about how Villa has helped them in their lives. The money raised from the event supports Villa’s nine programs for children and adults with special needs.
