Foothill Unity Center Recognized for Essential Services

Foothill Unity Center received multiple awards, including the “2020 Business of the Year” and the “2021 Local Hero Award” for providing the community with essential assistance amid the unprecedented hardships brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“In 2020, Foothill Unity Center delivered 11 times more food than previous years and served 15,650 individuals,” a spokesperson said.
The organization was also recognized by Congresswoman Judy Chu as this year’s “Non-Profit of the Year: Hometown Heroes of the Pandemic.”
“We are honored to be recognized for our service to the community; however, our work is far from finished,” a spokesperson said. “We are still here and in need of your support in our mission to help our neighbors in crisis. Please consider a donation today.”
Donations can be made through the Foothill Unity Center website, foothillunitycenter.org.
