Pasadena Ronald McDonald House Hosts Summer Social

The Ronald McDonald House Pasadena (PRMH) Board of Trustees hosted their annual “Heart of the House” party to show their appreciation for the organization’s most dedicated supporters. Following a difficult year, members of the Pasadena community have stepped up to lend a helping hand to families with critically ill children. Nearly 50 guests enjoyed drinks and hors d’oeuvres in the backyard of the PRMH newly expanded administrative offices.
Ronald McDonald House Pasadena provides not only a supportive home-away-from-home for families, but also a community of people who understand the stress of caring for a critically ill child. Passionate Adopt-a-Room partners have ensured that families have a warm, clean and well-maintained room whenever they need it by sponsoring the care and maintenance of a room in the House for a full year.
“The support of our dedicated community has kept our doors open for families when they need it most,” said Executive Director Mara Leong-Maguinez. “We are inspired by the resiliency our families demonstrate every day.”
