The Los Angeles Arboretum Foundation in Arcadia held its annual fundraiser last week. This year, the Arboretum rebranded its fundraiser as “Treasures of the Gardens,” which honored Jane Herrmann, Arnie Mulder and Betsey Tyler for their leadership, governance and support of the Arboretum.
CEO Richard Schulhof welcomed 190 guests to dine in the gardens. The event raised more than $150,000 to enhance the educational outreach and ongoing care of the gardens and botanical collections.
The event committee was made up of Jill Berry, Christopher Bragg, Nancy Burrows, Annette Castro Ramirez, Connie Ching, Peggy Dark, Susan Kranwinkle, Peg Rahn, Fran Shellgren and Peggy Stewart.
