The Berns Team, Realtors from Keller Williams, donated 100% of the commission from their 100th family to charities and nonprofits as voted on by their clients, family and friends.
For the third year in a row, the Berns Team has closed more than 100 transactions, and to say thank you, they allow voting to take place on how to make a difference locally and globally.
All charities that received votes then receive a gift ranging from $150-$7,500 based on the number of votes. With more than 1,800 votes, 34 charities and $34,500 to give away, the team is grateful for this opportunity to make a difference and give back and present checks to the charities during their annual Giving-Back Celebration.
Nonprofit organizations that received donations included: Pasadena Police Activities League, Boys & Girls Club of the Foothills, Five Acres, Wake Up Narcolepsy, Covenant Children’s Homes, Monte Vista Groves, LA Dream Center, Alaska Earthquake Relief, Leuk & Lymp, Children’s Hospital LA, City of Hope, MJ Fox, No Kill LA, Mary Beth Schol Fund, MC Satterly Scholarship, Door of Hope, Knox Presbyterian Church, The Living Room, Walter Hoving Homes, Young & Healthy, Hope Comm Church, Pasadena Humane Society, So Cal Childrens Museum, LinDave Institute, Milos Sanctuary, Mission Preborn, Natl.
