In a long-standing Flintridge Prep tradition, students in the class of 2018 took time between sports and other activities to put on a dinner and evening of entertainment for their parents. This year’s Junior Parent Dinner, with a ’70s and ’80s theme, began with a silent auction filled with items and services provided by the students themselves. Though some members of the junior class coordinated the silent auction, several of their classmates served their parents a gourmet dinner. After dinner, parents adjourned to the Norris Auditorium, for “Forever Young,” a talent revue hosted by students Izzy Wachtel and Katie Lee. Highlights included a classical rendition of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” on piano and violin, a spot-on cover of “Hotel California” and a hilariously choreographed dance to “Ladies Night.”
