Festival of Women Authors April 8

The Pasadena Festival of Women Authors announced the schedule of participating authors for its event on Saturday, April 8, to be held at the Pasadena Hilton Hotel from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The festival will feature Yaa Gyasi, whose novel “Homegoing” was one of the most talked-about books of 2016; Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney, author of her debut “The Nest”; and Amy Stewart, author of “Lady Cop Makes Trouble,” the second in her historical series, as well as four other outstanding authors.
The PFWA gives women authors a platform to share their personal experiences and journeys as writers, inspiring avid readers. Proceeds support literary programs at community nonprofit organizations. A portion of every ticket purchase is tax deductible.
Community sponsorships are available at levels ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, providing a range of benefits, including program recognition and event tickets.
