Parents of incoming, continuing and graduating Flintridge Prep students gathered at Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena recently to celebrate a year of service and volunteerism in the Prep community. As part of the program, the school’s director of college counseling, Gloria Diaz Ventura, recognized the families with graduating seniors. In her remarks, Parents Association President Jeanne Case provided positive data about the power of Prep parents, noting that 560 volunteer spots were taken over the course of the school year for 50 school-wide and 20 grade-level specific events, including the school’s biennial benefit.
