Family, friends, alumnae, and faculty and staff gathered recently on campus for the commencement ceremonies of Westridge School’s class of 2017. Wendy Lower, acting director of the Mandel Center for Advancement Holocaust Studies at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, and director of the Mgrublian Center for Human Rights at Claremont McKenna College, delivered the commencement address.
Head of School Elizabeth McGregor also addressed the class. “Know that we will be here for you, and that we are certain that you have the skills, the courage and the conviction to lean into the circle that represents your greatest sphere of influence. We’re proud of you. You have changed us, and the world is waiting for you.”
The 75 members of the graduating class will matriculate to 44 colleges and universities in more than 20 states, the District of Columbia and Canada.
