Teena Hostovich and Darrell Brooke recently hosted the Pasadena Panto Season Launch Party at Bistro 45 for producers Becky and Kris Lythgoe. This December, Lythgoe Family Panto, in association with the Pasadena Playhouse, will present a new production — “Beauty and the Beast: A Christmas Rose.” Performances will be Dec. 13-24 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. Single tickets are now on sale.
The opening night of “Beauty and the Beast” will serve as a benefit for Lythgoe Family Panto’s “Give Kids Panto,” a nonprofit educational program, serving more than 5,000 Title 1 students across America each year. All funds raised that evening will go to support Panto student matinees for Los Angeles and Pasadena Unified School District students. The students selected will have the opportunity to see a theater production for the first time. The benefit is co-chaired by Teena Hostovich and Darrell Brooke and tickets are $100 each.
