The Pasadena Fire Foundation honored nine firefighters who, on their own time and together with the organization Reach Out World Wide, traveled to hurricane ravaged areas in Puerto Rico and Florida to assist with relief efforts. Their actions helped saved countless lives as they used their specialized skills and training to support local first responders. The focus of the Pasadena Fire Foundation is to promote life safety and fire prevention through educational programs and community engagement. The Pasadena Fire Foundation works in concert with Chief Bertral Washington and city officials to reinforce the mission of the Pasadena Fire Department.
