One Colorado Comes Alive for the Holidays

One Colorado in Old Pasadena loves the holidays in December and is starting the season on the right note with the “Holiday Kickoff” shindig and the jazz band Leftover Cuties. This Saturday, Dec. 2, the event runs from 5-8 p.m. and will feature Christmas carolers, hand bell music, poetry and cupcakes. The night will feature photo booth family folly, and Santa will be there for photo opportunities.
Visitors can bring donations for the Good Cheer Gifting Drive and Holiday Card Round Up for the Union Station Homeless Services. Donations requested include caffeinated coffee; new and unopened men/women’s socks, T-shirts and toiletries; new or gently used books; and playing cards. Donors will receive free parking. (See website for details.)
On Sunday, Dec. 10, from 2-7 p.m. ensemble sections of the Pasadena Symphony and Pops will play throughout the area. Also, guests can plant some ongoing community support with the Fallen Fruit Public Fruit Adoption. Starting at 4 p.m., bring the family pets for a photo session with Santa.
On Thursday, Dec. 14, the Bob Baker Marionettes put on a show at 4:30 p.m. Ensemble sections of the Pasadena Symphony and Pops will perform again on Sunday, Dec. 17.
Santa will be available for photos on all dates. Events are free and open to the public. For more information, call (626) 564-1066 or go to onecolorado.com.
