‘Octopus Challenge’ to Screen at Caltech March 24

“The Octopus Challenge,” a high-definition documentary, will be presented on Saturday, March 24, at 4 p.m. in Caltech’s Beckman Auditorium. This program is part of Caltech’s Science Saturdays series.
“The Octopus Challenge” is a high-definition movie that explores the abilities of octopi. The octopus is a remarkable creature. The amusing and insightful program shows the octopus in action, squeezing into tiny spaces, sniffing out hidden food and even opening doors.
Justin Rolando, a Caltech Ph.D. student in chemistry and chemical engineering, will introduce the film and guide the post-screening discussion.
Tickets to this performance are priced at $10 (unreserved seating). Tickets can be purchased at the Caltech Ticket Office, 1200 E. California Blvd., and at the auditorium box office.
