The Pasadena Art Alliance held its Treasure Sale opening-night benefit party to kick off its three-day public sale event. Nearly 400 guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails as they shopped for the perfect treasure. The event was co-chaired by Mia Dean and Barbara Davis. Treasures on offer included antique furnishings and silver, collectible art, designer clothing, china and jewelry. Proceeds from the sale, which takes place once every four years, go directly toward the PAA Grant Program and Impact Award, which support contemporary visual art and art education in the Greater Los Angeles area. Since its inception, the Pasadena Art Alliance has awarded more than $6 million.
