LCFTRA Ready to Roll on Whimsical Float for 2022

The La Cañada Flintridge Tournament of Roses Association float entry for the 2021 Rose Parade, called “Who Says We Can’t,” will roll over to the Rose Parade on Jan. 1, 2022. The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association canceled the 2021 parade due to the coronavirus.

La Cañada Flintridge Tournament of Roses Association is going to have a “do-over year” after the 2021 annual Rose Parade was canceled because of the pandemic.
This, said LCFTRA President Michael Davitt, will give the local nonprofit organization some time to regroup and double down efforts to engineer the whimsical float called “Who Says We Can’t?” that will showcase in the 133rd Rose Parade after the 108th Rose Bowl Game on Jan. 1, 2022.
Typically, right after the parade on New Year’s Day, the LCFTRA hits the ground running to plan for the next year, and this year will be no different, Davitt noted.
