LCF City Council Selects Brown to Fill Empty Seat

The La Cañada Flintridge City Council soon will be whole again. Greg Brown was appointed Tuesday to a third term; he’ll serve until March 2019, filling the unscheduled vacancy that occurred with Dave Spence’s death in May.
“I’m excited, just to keep things moving and to get some things done and hopefully not miss a beat,” Brown said Tuesday evening by phone from Utah. “Obviously, this whole situation is one that we wish hadn’t arisen. Governor Names LCF Resident L.A. County Superior Court Judge

Gov. Jerry Brown this week included La Cañada Flintridge resident Fernando Aenlle-Rocha among his appointments to judgeships in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, according to a release from the governor’s office.
Aenlle-Rocha, 55, has been a partner at White and Case LLP since 2005. He was previously a partner at McDermott, Will and Emery LLP from 2000 to 2005 and an associate at Stephan, Oringher, Richman and Theodora PC from 1999 to 2000.
