Coleman Shelton had visited the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum numerous times throughout his life, most notably as a member of the Washington Huskies football team. Local Athlete Signed by NFL Team

Pasadena native Coleman Shelton signed with the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
The 6-4, 299-pound lineman former University of Washington lineman went undrafted after seven rounds but quickly received an offer from the 49ers.
“It’s a good feeling,” Shelton said in a phone interview. “It’s exciting to move on to the next chapter and I’m ready to go to the NFL. I feel confident. [Washington head coach Chris Peterson] and his crew got me ready for the next level.”
