The Los Angeles Zoo will be the site of Hathaway-Sycamores Child and Family Services’ 9th annual Celebrating Children fundraiser. In addition to raising funds for youth development activities to help the boys who reside at the organization’s El Nido Campus, guests at the Oct. 7 family-friendly event will enjoy exploring the zoo after-hours at this private affair.
This year’s dinner event, presented by PricewaterhouseCoopers, is from 6-10 p.m. The public can purchase tickets to the event, which includes an opportunity to meet some of the youth whose lives have been changed by the services they have received at El Nido. There also will be carousel rides, a silent auction, special gifts and giveaways.
