Kidspace Children’s Museum Reopens Today

Kidspace reopened to the public this week for the first time in nearly 14 months, the Pasadena-based children’s museum announced.
“We’ve been waiting more than a year to welcome families back to Kidspace, and being able to reunite in this playful space is a source of real celebration for our staff,” said Kidspace CEO Lisa Clements. “We can’t wait to have families back where they belong – laughing, climbing, drawing, and splashing together here at Kidspace.”

The reopening festivities kicked off today, May 6, and feature the museum’s 25th annual Butterfly Season, an all-outdoor experience filled with color, creativity and fanciful caterpillars hidden for visitors to find. Children can fly by butterflies on the trikes course, add their own artistic flair to a 2,500 square foot chalk mural, and make butterfly seed balls to take home and plant to attract local pollinators.
Tickets are available to purchase at kidspacemuseum.org. Kidspace, which is located at 480 N. Arroyo Blvd. at Pasadena’s Brookside Park (near the Rose Bowl), is open Thursdays through Mondays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
