Ladies’ Night Out Gets ‘Back in the Saddle Again’

First published in the Oct. 21 print issue of the Pasadena Outlook.

The 10th annual Ladies’ Night Out kicked off at a private residence in Altadena with “Back in the Saddle Again,” a fitting theme for Cancer Support Community Pasadena’s return to in-person events. Marlene Evans and Becky Harris led the committee event in planning this year’s event which included vendor booths, an exciting auction, raffle prizes, music and dancing. “Our in-person Ladies’ Night Out has been a long time coming, and we’re so grateful for our community’s enthusiasm and support around this evening,” said Patricia Ostiller, CSCP’s executive director. “Proceeds benefit nearly 1,000 people in our community who rely on us each year for support, education, and hope as they face cancer. Our programs are offered free of charge so that no one faces cancer alone.”
