The Junior League of Pasadena has named Amy Onderdonk as president of the women’s volunteer organization, which has more than 700 members in the San Gabriel Valley area.
Members of the JLP are looking forward to her leadership of the 91-year-old organization as they continue in their issue area of the Support and Development of Women. Members of the JLP volunteer hundreds of hours each year to support this issue area and the women in our community.
Onderdonk is beginning her eighth year of membership with the JLP, serving on the JLP Board of Directors as membership director and, most recently, as president-elect. She is a Pasadena native and is a speech-language pathologist at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
“For more than 90 years, the JLP has been consistently making a positive impact in our community,” said Onderdonk. “I look forward to continuing that legacy with our strong and dedicated members.”
JLP past-President Jennifer Allan Goldman said, “In working with Amy the last three years, I have watched her grow into a confident leader, ready to continue the JLP’s work in our community on empowering women to break barriers. I am so excited for Amy and cannot wait to see what next year has in store for the organization!”
