The La Cañada varsity softball team shut out visiting South Pasadena, 10-0, last Friday to remain perfect in Rio Hondo League play.

The La Cañada High School varsity softball team blanked visiting rival South Pasadena, 10-0, in a Rio Hondo League contest last Friday.
The Spartans, guided by second-year head coach Chuck Gunter, improved to 10-3 on the season, including a perfect 6-0 record in Rio Hondo League play.

La Cañada Passes First Big League Test

With only two seniors graduating from last year’s third-place squad, Monrovia entered this season as the La Cañada High School varsity softball team’s biggest challenge in the Rio Hondo League.

Spartans Down South Pas

The La Cañada High School varsity wrestling team opened Rio Hondo League play with a dominant 61-18 victory over visiting rival South Pasadena last week.
The league result follows a solid showing at the Blackwatch Tournament hosted by Upland High. Cheyenne Garcia won in her weight class, and her sister Sophie was second.
